Cookie Policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how DevNack LTD uses cookies, browser storage and related technologies on devnack.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can retain preferences without using a cookie. Tags and scripts can also send technical or usage information to service providers. In this policy, “cookies” is sometimes used as a convenient collective term for these technologies.
2. How consent works on this website
Necessary technologies are active because they support requested functions, security and the storage of your privacy choice. Optional analytics remains disabled until you select Accept all or enable Analytics under Customize.
Closing the first banner with the × keeps analytics disabled. Your choice is stored for up to six months. You can change it at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of the website. Withdrawing consent blocks future loading of GTM and attempts to remove common Google Analytics cookies accessible to this domain.
3. Technologies currently used
| Technology | Category and purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Necessary cookie that remembers whether you selected the English or Italian website | DevNack | Up to 1 year |
| devnack-cookie-consent | Necessary local-storage entry containing the consent version, analytics choice and choice date | DevNack | Up to 6 months |
| Turnstile token and browser/device security signals | Necessary anti-abuse verification used on the final enquiry-form step | Cloudflare | The submitted token expires after approximately 5 minutes; other data follows Cloudflare retention terms |
| Web-server and security logs | Necessary operational records such as IP address, request time, path and browser headers | DevNack and hosting providers | Normally up to 90 days under DevNack control |
| Google Tag Manager container | Optional analytics loader. It is completely blocked until analytics consent | GTM itself does not normally set visitor-identifying cookies; Google states that standard HTTP request logs are deleted within 14 days | |
| Google Analytics cookies such as _ga, _ga_<id> and _gid, where configured through GTM | Optional measurement of visits and interactions | Typically up to 2 years for _ga cookies and 24 hours for _gid, subject to the configured analytics settings |
The exact optional cookies depend on the tags published inside the GTM container. We will update this table before adding advertising, profiling or other third-party tags.
4. Cloudflare Turnstile
Turnstile runs only when the protected enquiry-form step is displayed. It evaluates browser and device signals, creates a short-lived token and allows our server to send that token and the originating IP address to Cloudflare for validation. We treat this processing as necessary to protect the form and website from spam and abuse.
5. Google Tag Manager and analytics
The site uses a basic consent approach: Google Tag Manager is not downloaded and no data is sent through it before analytics consent. After consent, GTM loads the measurement tags configured in the DevNack container. GTM is a tag-management system; the tags placed inside it determine which additional data and cookies are used.
We will not configure advertising, remarketing or profiling tags without adding an appropriate consent category and updating both this policy and the banner.
6. Browser controls and external websites
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies and site storage. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent language preferences, consent settings or form protection from working correctly.
Links to Calendly, Upwork, client websites and project websites open external services. Those services may use their own cookies under their own policies; the choice saved on devnack.com does not control external websites.
7. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when technologies or GTM tags change. Check the updated date for the current version. Questions can be sent to info@devnack.com.
